Riley's Pow Wow

This was way back at Thanksgiving (the Mystery spot was way back in the 1st week of November...can you say busy! - or slacker, whatever)

This was her first Kindergarten production. I teared up only once. It was all so cute, Riley got a speaking part! They had darling little songs and poems, it was just wonderful!

I barely caught it, but her line was "Native Americans would harvest corn and grind it to make bread." I think we were practicing that line for a month! Even Chloe knew it by heart.

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Now on the Christmas!!

2 Super Heroes and A Rock Star

Happy Halloween!
We had fun! My girls picked out these costumes all on their own - Mike was very proud. As for Elvis, that was my choice. He is going to want to dress up as a super hero for the rest of his life, so I figured with all that hair he was gonna be Elvis! I think they all looked so cute! Enjoy the videos, each of my kids costumes came with a theme song this year.

Our friend down the street got a face painting kit from Michaels, this is what the kids came home with one afternoon. They were beyond thrilled


I love that my kids are excited still to "do chores" They were doing the dishes all on their own accord


We went to Utah for our sweet Lauren's baptism. Riley and her had a blast together.

Chloe's First Day of Preschool

Yep! She chose a tutu for her first day of preschool. I don't think she has stopped wearing it since.
All I can say is that she was sooo ready, and that she soooo loved every minute of it!
Here's to a great year for my sweety Chloe!

Chase is 6 months!

This guy has become a serious chunk! He went from being in the 5th and 15th percentiles to 5oth for weight and 75th for height! Its awesome, because for the first 3 months of his life, all I heard people say were these 2 things:
"OH, look how tiny he is!" Followed by "And look at all that hair. (which they still say)

Overall, Chase is just awesome! He eats good, plays good, sleeps good, rolls across the room, and is now getting up on his hands and knees, I figure I'm about 2 weeks away from crawling- seriously? Love you, my little guy!

Mike's family visit

For anyone that didn't know, Mike's Mom passed away last month. Last weekend we had some family over for lunch and to go through old pictures. It was a great time to visit with family, and talk about old times! I loved every minute of their time here. I'm bummed that I didn't get more pictures. The one group shot I have is minus his 2 brothers, our niece Abby and his Uncle and Aunt...next time!

Just because my kids are Cute

Chloe and I went on a "Back to School Date" She starts Preschool soon! So we went and got some lunch, she requested a corn dog and ice cream. Then we went and chose a new outfit for school. She simple wanted every dress there! You'll just have to wait and see her first day pictures to see what she chose...and its adorable!

And this is REALLY just because he's just so cute.

I think she loves it so far (and Chloe wants to stay with her every day)

So far, her favorite thing is eating lunch in the cafeteria, she says "its so big in there". She also loves picking out her school uniform each day, she lays it all out the night before. I'm in awe at how well she does in new situations, its no sweat for her! We love her and I know it will be a great year!
