Other things going on here

The girls got to go to a fancy salon for some fancy haircuts.

Our House is coming along...we can't wait!

My sister Keri Came to visit us!  It was so fun!
We went to the Bon Jovi Concert!

She rode  in the back with the girls wherever we went

We took her to all the hot eating spots in Austin, and there are many!
It was just fun to have her around, her and Ty became besties!

And Finally, our besties from San Jose came out to visit for a couple of days.  Kenric and Becky!  Kenric also works at Ebay, and needed to come work for a day, so Becky tagged along.  We miss them so much, they super awesome!

Easter 2013

Good times this Easter.  We had a couple of fun easter egg hunts.  We dyed eggs.  We got all cute for Easter sunday (except no pictures of that).  I got sick that night and Mike had to take me to the ER, I got a kidney infection, and spent four  hours there! Lame.  No pictures of that either.

Birthdays!!!!

Around here we have a birthday season. Chloe at the end of February, then Mike, Chase, and Riley all in the first weeks of March!  Crazy!!

Chloe girl turned 5 this year!  Chloe is the most imaginative little girl ever!  She makes up songs constantly, is always playing pretend, and comes up with some really cool stuff!  She is so thoughtful, and shares all the time, and she is so smart, is sounding out words so good all by herself.   She is super sensitive, and can get upset pretty quickly, but then always says she's sorry.  I love her.

This sweetie has had the hardest time with our big move.  She wants to have a billion friends right away.  About a week before her birthday, she says,

"Mommy, I want to have a birthday party"
I say- " Sweetie, who are you going to invite?"
She stops and thinks and sadly says "I don't know"
(Isn't that so sad??)

So I told her, "Its OK, I don't have any friends here either yet, but we'll make some, and you are going to have a great party with us, who love you the most!!"

So, we surprised her with build-a-bear, which she just discovered a few months ago.  She chose a pink teddy bear, with 2 outfits, and named her "Ally"

Afterwards, we went on the carousal that they had at the mall, an took her out to lunch.  I also made her a Barbie ice cream cake, that she loved!  We had fun celebrating with our sweet, kind, girly girl Chloe.

Making a wish...

Next comes Chase's birthday. This boy is 2 years old, he is my precious little guy, so boyish, and yet so cuddly with me still.  He is the happiest kid I have ever seen, and just barely putting 2 words together, he is much slower to talk then my girls.
His favorite things to say right now:
I did it!
I no (I don't know)
ye-ye (horsy)
Dacterr (tractor)
Hi mommy
Hi daddy
Wa ee (Riley)
Da ee (Chloe)
Ty (Tyse)

We didn't do much except for open a present and sing him Happy Birthday.  He is still in love with his Batman Car!  He loved blowing out the candles on his rice krispy treat cake, he thought it was so cool!  I love him.

And then there was Riley...7 years old!
What can I say about this chica.  Her 2 favorite things to say everyday of her life:
"Mommy, can I watch a show?"
"Mommy, I'm still hungry"
We have talked about why doing those things over and over, or together are not too good for us.
She is the most responsible little girl, often reminding me of things.  She wakes up on her own, brushes her teeth, makes her bed, gets dressed.  Comes to wake us up, then makes her own breakfast (and sometimes lunch), and tells us to hurry, she doesn't want to be late!
Then she gets home, does her homework, has me sign it (who's in charge here?)  She is so helpful, and is ready to help at any time.  She is obsessed with Harry Potter, and The Rainbow Fairy books.  I love her too,
For her Bday,  they were out of school, so we went to the Children's Museum.  And opened presents, and had a giant cookie for her cake.  She asked for an American Girls Doll.  I wasn't sure that she would be super into them, so I bought her the one at Target (luckily she doesn't know the difference yet).  And I am glad I did, because it just sits on dresser, she literally never touches it.

I hope you are all jealous of my superb cookie decorating skills!!'

Oh, and somewhere in there, Mike turned 37.  I made him a yummy steak dinner, and for his cake, I made a french toast casserole for breakfast in the morning.  It was delish!!!
I love him the most.
