Girly Things

So, Riley didn't enjoy these things as much as I did, but we had a day of "new girly things." These things included simply painting her toenails for the very first time and trying sponge curlers for the very first time. The toenails turned out OK (again all things princess, she calls them ner princess toes), the curlers however made her look like an 80's prom queen - I think we'll wait 'til her hair's a little longer.

Mama got a haircut!

Before and after . . .
I was so ready to cut all my hair off, even though I got objections from my Mom and a few friends, saying they like my long hair - oh well. Its been about 7 years since I've had hair this short. Riley wasn't sure what to think when she saw me, but Mike really liked it . . .

Chloe - 2 Months Old!

Our little girl is growing. She's still a little peanut though, everyone still comments on how tiny she is. She really started smiling this week, its been so fun. She also started to enjoy her little play gym, with Riley laying right along side her. And as a Mom I have to say that she gets cuter and cuter each day (it also helps that she is growing out of the nightgown stage and into some really cute clothes, Mike thinks I just like to play doll with her - maybe he's a little right).

Our New Tradition

Every Saturday we wake up (don't even shower!), eat and head straight to Almaden Lake Park, where they have a walking trail with ducks, a small lake, and a couple parks. Its been so nice, because Mom & Dad can burn some calories while Riley enjoys being outside, seeing the ducks and especially stopping at the park. Chloe is usually good for us and just sleeps in the stroller the whole time. Its so nice just to be together as a family, I hope we continue this for a long time!

We are so ready for spring!

Riley LOVES her new jelly shoes and has them on pretty much all day. She calls them her "princess shoes" and then says "princess Riley" over and over again. I can't wait for it to warm up a bit so that she can wear them outside a little more often

The Beallz

Here is our family

Easter

This was our Easter!

Our little 2 year old

Riley has become quite the "terrible 2" We think she is just becoming smarter as she figures out all the things that push Mommy & Daddy's buttons. She loves any Disney princess movie, and asks to sit on the couch all the time, just to watch one. She is learning so fast, knowing how to count, knowing her shapes, tons of songs, still working on colors, and learning how to be a helper around the house. She also discovered the purple marker and how fun it could be to draw on the wall. Aunt Julie - do you like my shirt??

Chloe Elizabeth

Chloe's birth announcement

Chloe is the newest edition to our family. She was born on February 25 and weighed a tiny 5lbs 15 oz. She had a really good start, but has since developed colic (we think) which makes her very fussy!! She is as cute as can be though and we love her no matter what. Big sister Riley is In Love withe her and loves to help, by shoving the binky in her face and laying a blanket over her.
