Birthdays, Birthdays, Birthdays!!

Chloe 1st!  She turned 6 this year.  She is still my girly girl, wanting more dresses she could wear to school.  So here she is in her birthday dress for school.  We got donuts that morning for her, and for her choice we ate at Chick-fil-A for dinner.

We love our Chloe!

Since I haven't thrown a birthday party in  a couple of years we did a pretty big party this year for both girls.  It was a Beauty Salon Party.  I had a blast getting everything together for it, and I had some friends help out on the actual day, so it went really well and I hope everyone had a good time.  We invited 20 girls, and they ALL came.  it was quite the whirlwind!

Here are the gift bags and favors

We had Nail painting

Made Headnbands

And hair, makeup & Face paint

Here is the welcome poster me and my friend made, te welcome all the girls to the party

After everyone was done up, we got ready for the cake

I tried to make a nail polish cake, and thought I had a clear, very easy idea of how to do it.  But it didn't quite work out... hey you win some, you lose some, right?  It tasted delicious, and thats all that matters

Fancy Decorations for the girls

Pinata time
And then it all ended and, and we cleaned. And slept like babies that night!

Now onto Chase.
 He turned 3 this year!
I threw him a tiny little party with his playgroup friends.  We just had cookies, bubbles, and some candy.  Simple & Perfect.

Then the girls decorated his birthday gifts.  I love them,

Chloe writes - "We Love you, you are our heart, Happy Birthday"

And finally my big 8 year old Riley!!
I love her, even though she is getting crazy sassy with me.  We went roller skating on her actual birthday, and got her ears pierced.
And our Birthday Season is over!!!  It was super  fun (and expensive).
We just love celebrating these sweet kids of ours!!

Park Days

It has been sooooo cold this winter, that we try to take advantage of any good day we can get.  This park is a new one we've visited.  Before we left I grabbed my (new) camera to snap some pictures. I am so glad I did, the sun was perfect, and I loves these memories.

Big Boy Beds!

Well my poor 4th child has been in a porta crib for the first year (plus some).  We just kept Chase in the big crib, because Chase is VERY active, and we weren't sure about him in a bed yet.
We made the plunge and they are doing great!  They are in the same room now and go to bed and wake up together, its really cute!

This crib has been used for all 4 of my kids!  Do you see the scraped paint at the end of the crib.  Those are teeth marks from Riley.  I should hate those marks, but they bring back little memories of going to get her, and her standing up scraping her teeth on the crib.  (At the time I wasn't pleased)
I am glad that all my kids were able to use this one crib!

And here's my big boy in his big boy bed, he LOVES it!

And 2 pictures of Ty in the bath because he's so cute

I year Texas Anniversary

We have been here a year!!!  This January we visited the exact same places that we visited when we first got here.  The girls barely remembered, but I did!  It was fun to go back to the to "touristy" places of Austin again.

Chloe Surgery

Chloe has been having a very hard time hearing.  We finally took her into the ENT and he noticed a TON of fluid in her ears.  So she got scheduled for surgery.  She had her adnoids removed, and tubes put in her ears.
Before...

 After...
She came out of it soooo bad!  She was screaming and crying, and the head nurse had to "get firm" with her to calm down.  She kept screaming "STOP TALKING TO ME" over and over again.  It was quite a moment.  Then I realized that she could actually hear again!  And the voices were hurting her ears.  She finally calmed down. and was just fine, and recovered very nicely that day.
