Family visit

2 weeks ago we had my family out here and we had an amazing time! Here are some pictures

The Beach (of course)

Six Flags (went on THE BEST Roller Coster ever, maybe I think that because I haven't been on a roller coaster since Riley was born)

Bowling

Throw in little shopping, cooking, watching movies, making bows for the girls, playing games, and Riley getting throw up sick, and you have one busy eventful week. I love my family!

Chase ~ 5 months

Kicking, rolling over, laughing, eating cereal, grabbing and reaching, rockin the hair (he's had 3 haircuts so far), sucking on his hands, drooling, and most important... still cuddling.

Solid food

This little heart breaker of mine is eating big boy food and growing up so fast! I love him.

***Riley took these pictures, sorry if they are blurry, I couldn't hold the camera too!***

Summer Summer Summertime

I thought this summer was going to drag on with no school, but man have we kept busy! Its been so great! A couple of things I've loved so far is the free things that have been offered. The bowling alley here offered free bowling to kids all summer (and free shoe rental) and the library has a reading program where you get prizes for every increment of 5 books read. This is a great thing to get Riley ready for Kindergarten! They've been so fun and the girls have loved it!

Not to mention the swimming, the park visits, the bike riding, the otter pops and the playing with friends, we are b.u.s.y!

Here are some pictures of 2 fun things we did last week:

Aaaah, the Beach. Good friends. Good laughs. And one healthy sunburn for Mama

Horse Back Riding, my girls dream come true!

Father and Son

Seriously, could this picture be any cooler?

Chase ~ 4 months

Even more in love with this gorgeous babe of ours! He is now 13 1/2 lbs! It seem like he would never make it there, he was so tiny for so long! He is just the happiest thing I have ever seen! He coos and giggles, rolls over, is trying to reach for things, and often can't take his eyes of his sisters once he finds them in the room.

Riley said to me the other day:

"Mommy, I'm crying happy tears, because I love Chase so much"

I told her that I do that sometimes too, and that I did that with her and Chloe too. I think being a Mom to these beautiful kids is the best thing that could've ever happened to me!

** Laura took a bunch of these sweet pictures - Thank you, Thank you!**

4th of July 2011

We had a great day ! We started off with a breakfast with our new ward, we sang songs, had prizes and had a little kids parade.

Then relaxed during the middle of the day, and had some friends over for a BBQ, and ended the day up on the top of a hill at a families home to see all the fireworks shows in the city. It was beautiful!

I am continually grateful for the freedom we have in this country, grateful the the men and women who sacrificed at its beginning, and grateful for the men and women that continue to defend it today. America is a true gift to each of us.

A month of getting used to

The month of June has been absolute insanity for us! We've had some uncertain times, but after all the dust has settled, we feel so blessed in our lives! We know our Heavenly Father is watching out for us.

We moved all in one week, and Mike is starting a new job, so we're all kinda adjusting right now. All these next posts are not in order, but I just need to get them on here!

Enjoy.

We moved!

The craziness this month has definetely been overshadowed by us moving! We are here in our new house and loving it. We've met so many nice people in our neighborhood and in our new ward. We are excited for the upcoming years in this area!

Here are the girls on their first night in the new house. They loved sleeping on their mattresses on the ground right next to each other.

Chase is now in his own bedroom, in his own big boy crib...and sleeping through the night since we moved in!!

Chloe's first trip to the dentist!

She was so good! The hygienist gave her a mirror, so she could see what she was doing. And I caught her making these cute little faces in the mirror. I love this girl, its never a dull moment.

Chloe's been making up words lately. She'll say stuff like this

"A shooer means your nice"

"A meaner means your kinda naughty"

Those are the only 2 I can remember now, everyday its a new word, she is so creative and just funny!
