Here I am at 39 weeks Pregnant - Getting ready to be induced
the very next day
And here we are THE VERY NEXT DAY!
Here are the kids meeting their new little brother. They are all loving him so much!

My parents were awesome! They helped out more than I could even imagine!
Our crazy new family of 6
And here is the little bundle ready to go home- in the same car seat that every other kid of ours has used!
Boy have we been excited to welcome this baby into our family! We thought he would come earlier than he did, my girls were pretty impatient! But, alas he arrived.
I got my dates mixed up, and thought I was due on the 13th, but at my last appointment, the doctor confirmed that my due date was the 24th. My mom was able to be here, and she came out pretty early, and was planning to leave on the 24th, so my doctor was willing to induce me a week early. I really hoped I would go on my own, but no.
We went in early on a Monday morning to be induced- I had some makeup on, legs shaved, and a cute outfit, it's kinda weird- how do you dress to drive to the hospital and deliver a baby? It's a big day, so you better look good, if you can! Right?
Now, I call this my labor story, but this labor was anything but labor. Seriously. Here is the beautiful story of the easy birth of our son. My doctor came in at about 9 am, and broke my water, then started me on pitocin. At that point I was dilated to about a 4. About 40 minutes later, the "magic juice man" came in and gave me my epidural. Then we waited. We watched tv. We read magazines. I took a nap. Talked to some family members on the phone.
Then at about 12:00, the nurse cam in and checked me and said I was only dilated to a 5. Boo. With that she upped my pitocin. Then Mike decided he was hungry, and left to get some food. When after about 15 minutes of him being gone, I started to feel the pressure, but wasn't sure {having the epidural and such} and when the nurse came back in, I told her, and she checked me, and lo and behold, I was dilated to a 10! In only 45 minutes, I went from 5 to 10! She said- call your husband quick, and I won't call your doctor until he gets here. Mike flew back in. Then I got the shakes, waiting for the doctor to arrive.
The doctor got there at about 1:00. I began pushing, and 2 pushes later he was here! He arrived at 1:09 pm.
Seriously, the easiest labor ever! I really feel so blessed. I get nervous about every delivery, you know, things can always go wrong. But, we are so grateful for such a wonderful delivery, and a healthy, adorable baby boy! By the way, he has dark hair like his brother.
