February

It seems as though I can only get to updating this thing once a month these days! I know it's so cliche to say... But where does my time go!?

Anyways, here is what we've been up to:

Chase is.

officially a busy body! He was 11 months on Feb 8. He is climbing, cruising on the furniture, eating everything, and crawling as fast as he can away from Chloe, who likes to show her love a little too rough. He is also a serious lady lover! No matter where we go, he seems to catch the eye of some lady, until she notices his gorgeous baby blues, then swoons all over him. We're celebrating his 1 year next week, can't wait!!

This is where he tries to get into the kitchen

I don't think it ever gets old, when you go to check on your baby, and their little bum is in the air! And then even better, look at his dead asleep lips!! I love it!

While getting our Valentines Lollipops all ready to pass out to the class, Chase went super stealth and opened one up, without me even noticing! I had to take a few pics, just because he was in heaven with that thing!

Chloe is...

4 years old! We celebrated Chloe's big day at the end of the month. We started the day with some chocolate waffles, and gifts (that she was a little disappointed with, apparently she had asked Mike for an American Girl Doll AND a razor scooter) not the suitcase and dress I got for her. Then she chose 2 friends to go out for a girls day with her.

We went to get their nails painted at a little salon, then we grabbed some lunch, and finished the day off with getting cupcakes at the cutest, most delicious bakery ever! We had so much fun, and loved that we had a day just for our sweet Chloe!

Chloe has grown up so much! She is so sweet and cuddly, and always wants to dance like a princess, Aurora mostly. She is super creative, and makes up her own songs, she won't ever do it on command, so you just have to really pay attention when she starts singing. She is drawing pictures all day, everyday, she will also make up stories and is full of expression when she shares them. She is doing good in gymnastics, and is mostly concerned about what she wears than what she is actually going to do there. She is also very timid with many people, which is so different that her older sister. It's cute. We just adore her in every way! Happy 4th pretty lady!

Riley is...

Growing up and losing teeth!! Why does losing the upper teeth send me into a depression of how old my girl is getting!? I just don't think I'm ready for big teeth yet! So here is a pic of her missing front tooth.

Thats all for now~ Bye!

Our Adventures in January

My Sister came out with the kids at the beginning of January. We went on a really nice hike, in the hills around our house, called Quicksilver. It was super nice, except for Chloe at the very end... she just! couldn't! go! any! further! My sisters kids are growing up too fast! My nephew is so tall!! {and oh so 16 year old cool} We seriously look forward to their visits every time!

Here's Chloe not wanting to go anywhere.

Chase discovered some things this month that he's been missing out on in the kitchen:

The Tupperware cupboard!

The dishwasher!

And Spaghetti Noodles!

We have been sick for what seems like the WHOLE month of January.
All 3 kids with snotty wet noses, bad coughs, 3 ear infections, and 1 with walking Pneumonia (Pronounced - Lavonia by Riley, and Damonia by Chloe) They're working on it :)

Needless to say we have been in our jammies/comfy clothes alot, and been watching a lot of movies

And can you believe it! We made a beach trip in January! It was a friends idea, and I'm so glad we went- it was actually nicer this time than many times in the summer! No wind, perfectly clear, upper 60's. It was a really great day!

The high chair was a genius idea for the baby! Because as you can see, by his mouth, once he was put on the sand, he straight dipped his head into the sand, and didn't even care! He had so much fun here, just looking around, being held by Mom and Dad, and playing with the sand toys {when we let him}

Here's the Mommas with their cute babes!

The girls had fun digging for crabs and jumping in the water

And finally some family photos, because the sunset was just that beautiful!

Our 7th Anniversary

So, I knew our anniversary was coming up, but when the day actually came, I completely forgot! Mike woke up and gave me a card, and then I realized that I had done nothing for him! So, I sent Mike out shopping for a few hours (so he could return everything I bought him for Christmas- no joke) I went onto a website called the dating divas, which I love! They have all sorts of spouse date ideas, I especially like the ones that you can do at home. So I pulled a few things together and we had a date night when the kids went to bed! I think it was the best anniversary we had!

He came home to this invitation taped to the door, in an envelope

Then while he was reading a book to the girls, I got this all set up, with candles everywhere! including the awesome iPad app that has just a candle light, so cool.

The game was just a list of questions to ask back and forth, we switched it up a bit and tried to answer for each other. I actually learned quite a few new things about him that night!

Another fun part was that the girls made me get into my wedding dress. I was unsure at first, but they were so excited, that I couldn't say no! I was also pleased to discover that I still {barely} fit into it.

Happy 7th Michael!

Napa

Some wonderful friends invited us to go up to Napa, CA right after Christmas. We had a really great time! We swam in the heated pool (only in Cali can you swim at the end of December), visited a castle, rode a tram up a mountain, and the kids asked if they could live in our hotel room forever! It was beautiful there!

On top of the Mountain!

All I have to say about these pictures is - POOR CHASE!
